Host Hotel Information

The TGA has partnered with the following hotel to offer a special rate for tournament participants. Participants are responsible for individually booking their room for the championship, if needed.

Entry & Eligibility Information

Entries Open: Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close: Wednesday, June 17, 2025 at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $300

Eligibility: Players must have a current membership with a member of the Texas Junior Golf Alliance. Players can renew or sign up with the Northern Texas PGA or the Southern Texas PGA membership to be eligible.

Championship Information

Format/Field Size: Play will be contested over 36 holes of stroke play qualifying. Following stroke play qualifying, the low 16 boys and 8 girls will advance to single elimination match play. The field is limited to 120 players.

Practice Round Information:

Players can book practice rounds at the discounted rate at High Meadow Ranch GC starting June 18. Players can book on the club website or by calling the golf shop, the tee sheet opens 8 days in advance at 6 AM online and the golf shop opens at 7 AM. 

There will not be a designated tee time block on Sunday, July 5. Please book at your best availability leading up to the championship. 

If practice rounds are booked online, players will need to let the golf shop know they are playing a practice round to receive the proper rate when checking in. 

Practice round fees are $50 walking / $70 riding.

Starting Times/Pairings Information

Starting times/pairings for the first & second round will be available Friday, July 3 online at txga.org. Match play starting times/pairings will be available in the evening preceding play (approximately one hour after the completion of play) online at txga.org.

Caddies

Caddies are NOT permitted for the championship. Rule 10.3a will be modified in this way: A player must not have a caddie during a round.

The Championship will be contested under the 2023 Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association and R&A, its interpretations and clarifications, 2026 Legends Junior Tour Local Rules and Terms of Competition. For more information on rules, visit the USGA Rules of Golf Hub.
