Entry & Eligibility Information
Entries Open: January 29, 2025, at 9:00 AM
Entries Close / Withdraw Date: March 12, 2025, at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $270
Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference TGA Women’s Competition Policies for further details.
Entry Procedure: Entries accepted in order of entry except if the event is oversubscribed in the first 24 hours. In this case, the field will be filled by blind draw from the entries returned during the first 24 hours. Any player not drawn will be placed on the waiting list in blind draw order. All subsequent entries will be placed on the waiting list in order of entry.
Championship Information
Format/Field Size: Play will consist of 36 holes over two days of individual Eclectic. Each player takes her better score over the two days. The field is limited to 112 players. Flights will be predetermined based on March 19 handicap.
Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) complimentary practice round at Bandit Golf Club on Monday, March 24 Players must contact the host club and identify themselves as Women’s Eclectic players to schedule a practice round.
Registration Information: Player registration will be held on Monday, March 24 at a time to be determined. If a player cannot make registration, she must notify a TGA official that she is unable to make the registration deadline but will be competing in the championship.
Starting Times/Pairings Information: Starting times / pairings for the first round will be made available no later than Friday, March 21 by 5:00 PM online at TXGA.org. Final round starting time/pairings will be available in the evening preceding play (approximately one hour after the completion of play).
Caddies: Caddies are permitted during the Championship. The TGA will be utilizing the “one-seat” policy. The player may ride in or move a golf cart with another player’s caddie in it, so long as the player whose caddie is in the cart is not riding in another cart at the same time. As a reminder, players are responsible for actions of their caddie.
Cancellation/Withdrawal Procedure: Prior to the entry deadline players looking to withdraw should do so online through their Golf Genius user profile or by contacting the TGA Staff Contact directly. After the entry deadline has passed players should either call the Texas Golf Association at (214) 468-8942 or email the TGA Staff Contact directly. Only withdrawals on the day of the competition should be directed to the host club golf shop.
Transportation: Players may walk or ride at their own discretion. Cart fees are included in the players entry fee. Spectators must walk at all times.
Medical Cart: Spectators in accordance of ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully-completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season. A request will not be deemed complete until all required information and documentation has been provided. For further information and details contact Chris Untiedt, Senior Tournament Director.
Score Posting: The TGA will post all scores for individual stroke play events to players GHIN number. Players are asked to not post scores for individual TGA stroke play events as it will result in a duplicate posting.
