Entry & Eligibility Information
Entries Open: Wednesday, May 27, 9:00 AM (CST)
Entries Close: Wednesday, July 8, 5:00 PM (CST)
Entry Fee: $350 – Includes four rounds of golf, carts, range balls, three lunches, player gift and awards.
Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS handicap from a TGA Member Club and a resident of Texas. For further details please reference Women’s Competition Policies – TGA
Entry Procedure: All entries will be placed in pending registration. Players who have earned exemptions will be confirmed shortly after entry. All others remain pending until entries close on July 8. Upon close of registration the low 60 Amateur handicaps will be confirmed and the low 24 Mid-Amateur handicaps will be confirmed. Any remaining players will be placed on a wait list. if either division has open spots when registration closes, those spots may be allocated to other division to accomodate players on the wait list.

Championship Information
Format/Field Size: Play will be contested over 54 holes of stroke play. The 2026 Championship will feature two divisions, Championship and Mid-Amateur. The Championship division will play from a yardage ranging between 5900 and 6200 yards depending on the golf course. The Mid-Amateur division is open to golfers that have reached their 25th birthday by the first round of the event. The yardage for the Mid-Amateur division will play from a yardage between 5500 and 5700 yards depending on the golf course.
Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) complimentary practice round on , July 23rd. Players will sign up for a practice round time via a Golf Genius portal. The portal will open for sign-ups Friday July 10th @ 9:00 AM. Specific details on times and scheduling will be available at a later date. The Please do not call the Golf Shop. Only times made through Golf Genius will be honored.
Registration Information: Registration will take place at Bentwater Yatch & CC on Wednesday, July 23 at a time TBD.

Starting Times/Pairings Information: Starting times/pairings for the first round will be made no later than Monday, July 20th at www.txga.org. Starting times/pairings for subsequent rounds will be available the evening before the next round.
Caddies: Caddies are permitted and must adhere to all Women’s Competition Policies – TGA and host club policies.
Cancellation/Withdrawal Procedure: Prior to the entry deadline players looking to withdraw should do so online through their Golf Genius user profile or by contacting the TGA Staff Contact directly. After the entry deadline has passed players should either call the Texas Golf Association at (214) 468-8942 or email the TGA Staff Contact directly. Only withdrawals on the day of the competition should be directed to the host club golf shop. A refund minus $25 administrative fee will be issued for withdrawals before entries close.
Transportation: Players may walk or ride at their own discretion. Cart fees are included in the players entry fee. The TGA ‘One-Seat’ Policy is in effect. Spectators must walk at all times.
Medical Cart: Spectators in accordance of ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully-completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season. A request will not be deemed complete until all required information and documentation has been provided. For further information and details contact Chris Untiedt, Senior Tournament Director.
Score Posting: The TGA will post all scores for individual stroke play events to players GHIN number. Players are asked to not post scores for individual TGA stroke play events as it will result in a duplicate posting.
Awards: We will crown a Women’s Stroke Play Champion and a Women’s Mid-Amateur Champion. Low finishers in each divsion will receive golf shop credit redeemable at Bentwater CC.
