Entry & Eligibility Information

Entries Open: January 14, 2026 @ 9:00 AM CST

Entries Close / Withdraw Date: February 25, 2026 @ 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $200 per team (includes golf, cart, range, awards, two (2) drink tickets, and hors d’oeuvre following play)

Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference Women’s Competition Policies – TGA for further details.

Entry Procedure: Entries accepted in order of entry. In the case the event becomes oversold, a waitlist will be created by order of entry and teams will be moved into the field a space becomes available.

Event Information

Format/Field Size: Play will be contested over 18 holes in a two-lady team scramble format. Each partner must use two of their drives on the front nine and two of their drives on the back nine. We will award Net and Gross prize. To calculate team handicap, thirty-five percent of the low handicap and fifteen percent of the high handicap will be used. The field is limited to twenty (20) teams. February 26, 2026 player handicaps will be used.

Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) practice round on a weekday for a discounted rate of $45 between February 23-27 or March 2-6. To schedule, players will need to call the Golf Shop at (281) 478-4653 and indentify themselves as a Women’s Saturday Series participant.

Registration Information: There is no official registration. Players are asked to arrive at the tee 10 minutes before their starting time for tournament related announcements and their official scorecards. 

Starting Times/Pairings Information: This is a tee time event. The first tee time will be at 11:40 AM and the last tee time will be at 1:10 PM. Starting times and pairings will be available no later than 5:00 pm on Thursday, March 5 via an email sent through Golf Genius and online at www.txga.org.

Caddies: Caddies are NOT permitted.

Cancellation/Withdrawal Procedure: Prior to the entry deadline players looking to withdraw should do so online through their Golf Genius user profile or by contacting the TGA Staff Contact directly. After the entry deadline has passed players should either call the Texas Golf Association at (214) 468-8942 or email the TGA Staff Contact directly. Only withdrawals made prior to the entry deadline (February 25 @ 5:00 PM) can expect a refund minus a $25 administrative fee.

Transportation: Players may walk or ride at their own discretion. Cart fees are included in the players entry fee. Spectators must walk at all times.

Medical Cart: Spectators in accordance of ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully-completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season. A request will not be deemed complete until all required information and documentation has been provided. For further information and details contact Chris Untiedt, Senior Tournament Director.
