Entry & Eligibility Information
Entries Open: Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at 9:00 AM
Entries Close / Withdraw Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $500 (per team) – Includes 63 holes of golf, carts, range balls, two lunches, player gift and awards
Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference Women’s Competition Policies – TGA for further details.
Entry Procedure: Entries accepted in order of entry except if the event is oversubscribed in the first 24 hours. In this case, the field will be filled by blind draw from the entries returned during the first 24 hours. Any player not drawn will be placed on the waiting list in blind draw order. All subsequent entries will be placed on the waiting list in order of entry.
Championship Information
Format/Field Size: Play will be over 45 holes of Round Robin Net Four-Ball Modified Match Play. Two partners, playing their own ball compete against two other partners. teh lowest score of the partners is the score for the hole. Each hole is worth two points, a tie is worth one point. The team with the most points after 45 holes will be the flight winner. Teams will be pre-flighted into flights of six (6) based of combined team handicap. Maximum allowable spread of partners’ handicap is 8. If more than 8, the higher of the two handicaps will be adjusted down. March 18 handicaps will be used. Maximum field is 36 teams.
Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) complimentary practice round at Oakmont Country Club on March 22. Players will be able to sign up for practice round using Golf Genius. The portal for signups will open at 9:00 AM on Friday, March 13th. Times available will be between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm.
If a player needs to play their one (1) complimentary practice round on a different day, they may call the golf shop and scheudule based on availability. (940) 321-5599
Registration Information: Player registration will be held on Sunday, March 22 on the patio at the Oakmont clubhouse from 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM. If you are unable to register during this time, please inform Charlie Martindale via email.
Starting Times/Pairings Information: Match times/pairings for each round will be made available no later than Friday, March 20 by 5:00 PM online at TXGA.org.
Caddies: Caddies are NOT permitted.
Cancellation/Withdrawal Procedure: Prior to the entry deadline players looking to withdraw should do so online through their Golf Genius user profile or by contacting the TGA Staff Contact directly. After the entry deadline has passed players should either call the Texas Golf Association at (214) 468-8942 or email the TGA Staff Contact directly. Only withdrawals on the day of the competition should be directed to the host club golf shop.
Transportation: Players may walk or ride at their own discretion. Cart fees are included in the players entry fee. Spectators must walk at all times.
Medical Cart: Spectators in accordance of ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully-completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season. A request will not be deemed complete until all required information and documentation has been provided. For further information and details contact Chris Untiedt, Senior Tournament Director.
Score Posting: The TGA will not post scores of a match play event.
