Wilshire and Dees Win the Women’s Partnership
BRIEFLY: First round leaders Emilie Wilshire and Mary Dees win the 2021 Women’s Partnership at Riverhill Country Club in Kerrville for a wire to wire victory. In all, five flights crowned champions as the second TGA Women’s event of the 2021 season wrapped up.
WOMEN’S PARTNERSHIP OVERALL LEADERBOARD:
GOLF COURSE: Designed by close friends Joe Finger and Byron Nelson in 1974, Riverhill Country Club’s 18-hole course is a premier location for golf in Texas and the United States. Based in the heart of Hill Country, the course boasts its rare bent-grass greens and a 7,137 yard, 72-par challenge featuring scenic creeks, hills and a lake throughout the property. Over time, the course became Nelson’s favorite, where he was quoted saying, “If I had only one golf course to play, it would be Riverhill.”
WEATHER: Tuesday’s final round started with cloud cover and trace amounts of rain. The cloud cover broke in the afternoon and provided players with perfect sunny conditions for the rest of the day.
