Flodder Financial Shootout Returns to The Club at Falcon Point

ADDISON, Texas — The 13th Flodder Financial Shootout is set for June 16-17 at The Club at Falcon Point. This marks the second June tournament on the Legends Junior Tour’s summer schedule. 

“We are excited to be back at such a phenomenal course,” said Tournament Coordinator Noah Duhon. “The Club at Falcon Point staff and membership have been incredible to the Legends Junior Tour and its players. It’s always great to return for this event.” 

The Club at Falcon Point, located in Katy, features an 18-hole course designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge. Opened in 1984, the par-72 layout utilizes the area’s natural topography and presents a strategic challenge with native areas and multiple water hazards. 

Notable holes include No. 2, which shares a double green with No. 4, and the finishing hole, No. 18 — a par 4 that brings players back to the clubhouse with a demanding green surrounded by water. 

At the 2024 Flodder Financial Shootout, Katy’s Preston Chabaud captured the Boys Division title. Chabaud fired rounds of 73-71—144 to win by a single stroke and claimed his first Legends Junior Tour victory. 

In the Boys 14 & Under Division, Pearland’s Adrian Bowers carded rounds of 72-73—145 to finish at 1-over par and win by four strokes, also earning his first LJT title. 

In the Girls Division, Austin’s Sydney Givens emerged victorious after rounds of 74-78—152 led her into a playoff with Kingsbury’s Camiliah Porras and Austin’s Ava Osbourne. Givens secured the win on the third playoff hole in an intense finish. 

This year’s event will feature a field of 84 players across three divisions: Boys, Girls, and Boys 14 & under. The format is 36 holes of individual stroke play. 

Division champions will receive custom silver belt buckles courtesy of the Flodder Financial Group. A smaller belt buckle will also be awarded to the lowest scorer in the final round of each division. In addition to the trophies, top finishers will earn exemptions into upcoming LJT Invitational events.
