Albert and Liberto Win 2021 South Four-Ball

Missouri City – Trailing by one stroke heading into the final round, Todd Albert of Katy and Kevin Liberto of Cypress battle back to win on the Eldorado Course at Quail Valley Golf Course. A seven-under par, 65, in the final round was one stroke off the course low score for the day as players battled the elements. In the first round, Albert and Liberto posted a 4-under par 68 which had an eagle on the par-5 seventh and two birdies on the par-3 eights and par-5 tenth on the scorecard. 4-under par 68 was good enough to get Albert and Liberto into the final group and tied for second. To start the final round, Albert came out hot as he birdied six of the first seven holes on his own ball. Albert kept it rolling on the backside as he carded another three birdies. Liberto was steady throughout the day and provided when the team needed. Liberto had one birdie on the day on the par-4 fifteenth. The teams strong final round was enough to secure them a two stroke win and nine-under par tournament total, 133, and the South Four-Ball crown.
