Entry & Eligibility Information

Entries Open: January 07, 2026 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close / Withdraw Date: February 11, 2026 at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $270 – Includes three (3) rounds of golf, two (2) lunches, range balls, player gift and awards.

Eligibility: Entries are open to female amateur golfers with a certified WHS Handicap Index. Please reference Women’s Competition Policies – TGA for further details.

Entry Procedure: Players will be accepted by order of entry except if the event is oversubscribed in the first 24 hours. In this case, the field will be filled by blind draw from the entries returned during the first 24 hours. Any player not drawn will be placed on the waiting list in blind draw order. All subsequent entries will be placed on the waiting list in order of entry.

Championship Information

Format/Field Size: Play will consist of 36 holes over two days of individual Eclectic. Each player takes her better net score over the two days.
Field is limited to 100 players.
Scoring will be all Net.
The event will be flighted before tournament starts based on February 12 handicap.
An overall Net Champion will be crowned and top finishers in each flight will be awarded prizes.
Player of the Year points will be awarded to the top five (5) overall finishers (Amateur and Senior).

Event Communication: Tournament related player emails will be sent through Golf Genius.

Practice Round Information: Each player is allowed one (1) complimentary practice round at Coyote Ridge Golf Club on Monday, March 2. Players will sign up for practice round using Golf Genius. 9:30 AM – 1:30 PM are the available times.

Registration Information: Monday, March 2 player registration will be held 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM on the patio outside the golf shop and restaurant area.

Starting Times/Pairings Information: Starting times/pairings for the both rounds will be made available no later than Friday, February 27th by 5:00 PM online at www.txga.org. Please note, we do not re-pair by score after round one due to the format. Not everyone completes each hole during round one. You do not have a true score until the event is completed.

Caddies: Caddies are permitted during the Championship. The TGA will be utilizing the “one-seat” policy. The player may ride in or move a golf cart with another player’s caddie in it, so long as the player whose caddie is in the cart is not riding in another cart at the same time. As a reminder, players are responsible for actions of their caddie. TGA One-Seat Policy

Cancellation/Withdrawal Procedure: Prior to the entry deadline players looking to withdraw should do so online through their Golf Genius user profile or by contacting the TGA Staff Contact directly. After the entry deadline has passed players should either call the Texas Golf Association at (214) 468-8942 or email the TGA Staff Contact directly. Only withdrawals made before registration closes will receive an automatic refund minus the $25 administrative fee.

Transportation: Players may walk or ride at their own discretion. Cart fees are included in the players entry fee. Spectators must walk at all times.

Medical Cart: Spectators in accordance of ADA compliance may request golf carts. Requests for golf carts must be supported by complete documentation, including the fully-completed Cart Request Form and the required accompanying medical documentation specified in that form for all first-time requests. Any medical cart request that is granted by the TGA will be good for that individual for the remainder of that calendar season. A request will not be deemed complete until all required information and documentation has been provided. For further information and details contact Chris Untiedt, Senior Tournament Director.

Score Posting: The TGA will post all scores for individual stroke play events to players GHIN number. Players are asked to not post scores for individual TGA stroke play events as it will result in a duplicate posting.

Host Hotels

The TGA has partnered with the following hotel to offer a special rate for tournament participants. Participants are responsible for individually booking their room for the championship, if needed.

There will be no host hotel for this event.
