Entry & Eligibility Information

Entries Open: June 11, 2025 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close / Withdraw Deadline: August 7, 2025 at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $TBD per Team

Eligibility: Entries are open to male and female. You must be a TGA member by having a Handicap Index™.

Entry Procedure: The field will be established in the order in which entries are received. We will have 54 Teams total.

Championship Information:

Format/Field Size: The field is limited to 54 teams. The format of play is 36-hole Two-Person Shamble. In a Shamble format, both players hit a tee shot, select the better shot, and play their own ball from that point until the ball is holed. There will be Men, Women and Mixed flights and 80% of each player’s handicaps will be used. Handicap max is 36.0. If your handicap is higher than 36, we will bring it down. The maximum spread of partners can be no more than a 12 differencial spread. Example: If a 10 handicap player is playing with a 30 handicap player, the 30 handicap player has to come down to a 22 handicap.

Practice Round Information: Practice Round Information will be mailed to you.

Cancellation/Withdrawal Procedure: Prior to the entry deadline players looking to withdraw should do so online through their Golf Genius user profile or by contacting the TGA Staff Contact directly. After the entry deadline has passed players should either call the Texas Golf Association at (214) 468-8942 or email the TGA Staff Contact directly.
