Entry & Eligibility Information

Entries Open: June 8, 2026 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close / Withdraw Deadline: July 30, 2026 at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $675 per Team

Eligibility: Entries are open to male and female. You must be a TGA member by having a Handicap Index™.

Entry Procedure: The field will be established in the order in which entries are received. We will have 52 teams total.

Championship Information:

Format/Field Size: The field is limited to 52 teams. The format of play is 36-hole Two-Person Shamble. In a Shamble format, both players hit a tee shot, select the better shot, and play their own ball from that point until the ball is holed. There will be Men, Women and Mixed flights and 80% of each player’s handicaps will be used. Handicap max is 36.0. If your handicap is higher than 36, we will bring it down. The maximum spread of partners can be no more than a 12 differential spread on the handicap index. Example: If a 10.0 handicap index player is playing with a 30.0 handicap index player, the 30.0 handicap index player has to come down to a 22.0 handicap index.

Practice Round Information: Practice round information will be sent in your event registration email confirmation.

Cancellation/Withdrawal Procedure: Prior to the entry deadline, players looking to withdraw should do so online through their Golf Genius user profile or by contacting the TGA Staff Contact directly. After the entry deadline has passed players should either call the Texas Golf Association at (214) 468-8942 or email the TGA Staff Contact directly.

10:03 am – 2:06 pm – Practice rounds tee times

9:30 am – 2:00 pm – Player registration in the foyer of the resort

6:00 pm – 8:00 pm – Player welcome dinner

Saturday, August 15th

6:45 am – Breakfast

8:00 am – Round 1, shotgun start

Sunday, August 16th

6:45 am – Breakfast

8:00 am – Final round, shotgun start

Awards presentation immediately following final round.
