For decades, Plano illustrator and TGA Gallery Club member, Bart Forbes has captured the essence of golf greatness on canvas. He is known for evocative portrayals of historic PGA Tour moments, legends of the game, and has a strong connection to golf in Texas.

Forbes has worked closely with the PGA of America in Frisco. He has captured idyllic vantage points and indelible views from the Byron Nelson Classic, La Cantera and Preston Trail Golf clubs as well as iconic courses across the nation, like Pebble Beach, Sawgrass and Augusta. He created seven individual murals that hang in the Clubhouse at TPC Sawgrass. His illustrations have helped bring golf to life in Sports Illustrated and Golf Digest. And his paintings are proudly included in the private collections of Ben Hogan, Arnold Palmer and Justin Leonard.

“Golf has always been more than a game to me. It’s a pastime that connects us to friends, family and shared moments…all in some of the most scenic places you could ever hope to find. It’s a game you can play for a lifetime and there’s an art to playing it well.”, says Forbes.

Still active in the game, this 2017 inductee into the Society of Illustrators Hall of Fame, continues to seek ways to connect with those who love the game as he does, as well as ways to bring the art of the game to new players, evident in his most recent project, the Bart Forbes Chrono Pro Tour 1.

This timepiece isn’t just inspired by Forbes’ artwork…it is his artwork. Inspired by his celebrated series of paintings The Seasons, featuring Fall, Summer, and Spring, this timepiece transforms his iconic golf paintings into works of art you can take with you out on the course.

Created in collaboration with Swiss watchmaker Noble Time, only 100 units of each of the three seasons will be produced. This limited-edition timepiece tees up a new chapter in the storied career of this legendary Texas artist.
