The Texas Golf Association is proud to announce it has become an official partner for the 2025 edition of The Chevron Championship, one of the five major championships on the Ladies Professional Golf Association Tour.

“The Chevron Championship is considered one of the world’s premier women’s golf championships and supports the pursuit of excellence and achievement on and off the course through its iconic event,” said Stacy Dennis, TGA Executive Director. “Their commitment to advancing the women’s game at all levels aligns with our mission to create a welcoming environment that will continue to encourage growth and participation for women and girls at every stage of the game.”

Established in 1972 as a platform to champion and elevate women’s golf, The Chevron Championship has become a beacon for driving diversity, equity, and inclusion for the women’s golf game, staying true to its founding principles under Dinah Shore.

Today, in its unique position as the first major of the LPGA schedule and in its home in The Woodlands, Texas, The Chevron Championship’s success is driven by a commitment to build an event that extends well beyond the fairways and beyond the week by supporting local organizations across the Houston area to empower women and girls in sports, in the fields of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) education, and in professional development.

This year, The Chevron Championship will be contested from April 24-27 on the Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course at The Club at Carlton Woods in The Woodlands.

For golf fans in Texas, The Chevron Championship is a chance to walk the fairways with the brightest stars in women’s golf. The 132-player field will include past winners, major champions from the last five years, players who have won on tour over the last two years, elite amateur tournament winners, and leading players in the Race to the CME Global standings.

It’s also an ideal opportunity to introduce family members of all ages to the game, as juniors aged 17 and under will receive complimentary admission with the purchase of an accompanying adult ticket.
