The TGA is proud to once again partner with Championship Golf Network (CGN) for live final-round coverage of the 100th Texas Junior Amateur presented by Edwin Watts Golf Shops on July 1. The event will be contested June 29-July 1, 2026 at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco.

CGN’s coverage will feature live final-day broadcasts of the lead groups for both the Boys 15-18 Division and Girls 15-18 Division on their respective back nine holes, along with player interviews and other behind-the-scenes content. CGN is committed to delivering high-quality media coverage that captures the excitement and competitiveness of the tournament.

In 2024 the Texas Junior Amateur was elevated to an Official USGA Exemption Event, with the champions of the Boys 15-18 Division and Girls 15-18 Division earning exemptions into their respective U.S. Junior Amateur Championships in 2025. The Texas Junior Amateur will continue to be designated an Official USGA Exemption Event in 2026 and beyond.

In a year already defined by history, tradition, and celebration, the continuation of USGA exemption status adds a powerful competitive edge to the centennial playing of the championship. What began 100 years ago as a state championship has grown into one of the most respected junior events in the country — and in 2026, the stakes have never been higher.
