In 2014, the Legends Junior Tour created a priority entry system for all ‘Open’ events. Players who have distinguished themselves in previous Legends Junior Tour events as well as NTPGA All American Tour and STPGA Prestige Tour competitions will be given priority over other players. Registration for each ‘Open’ event will begin approximately 10 weeks prior to the tournament start date (with the exception of the Winter Classic and Jimmy Demaret Junior Classic). Upon close of registration for each event, players with priority status will be placed in the event first. Any remaining spots in the field will be filled by players without Priority Status in the order registrations were received.

Priority Player Overflow: In the event that there are more priority players than spots in the tournament field, order of entry amongst priority players will be determined by the order listed below;*

Boys 15 – 18 and Girls Divisions

1. 2024 & 2025 LJT Champions

2. 2024 & 2025 All American Tour, and Prestige Tour Champions (Applies for Winter Classic – Spring Preview entries), 2025 All American Tour and Prestige Tour Champions (Applies for Flodder Financial Shootout – James A. Ragan Memorial entries).

3. 2024 LJT Player of the Year Points position (Applies for Winter Classic – Spring Preview entries), 2025 LJT Player of the Year Points position (Applies for Flodder Financial Shootout – James A. Ragan Memorial entries).

Boys 14 and Under Division

1. 2024 & 2025 LJT Champions 

2. 2024 & 2025 All American Tour, and Prestige Tour Champions will be sorted based on order of registration.

When registering for any ‘Open’ event, all players will be placed on the pending/wait list. A player will not be charged the tournament entry fee until they have been accepted into the tournament. At that point, the credit card on file will be charged the tournament entry fee. Please check the championship information page for specific eligibility requirements for each championship.

Jimmy Demaret Junior Classic and Spring Preview:

• Champion of 2024 LJT Event

• Finished in top 5 of any 2024 LJT Event

• Champion of 2024 LJT Event

• Champion of 2025 LJT Event
• Champion of 2025 NTPGA All American Tour or STPGA Prestige Tour Event

Note: Any player transitioning from the Boys 14 & Under division to the Boys 15-18 division will earn priority status based on these criteria:

Top 10 on 2024 LJT Player of the Year Points List (Boys 14 & Under)

• Winner of any 2024 LJT Event

Note: All events must meet the following criteria to be eligible for Players to earn Priority Entry Status:

1. Events must have a minimum of 10 players in the division
2. Events must be completed before the Registration Deadline

• All players must qualify through one of 12 qualifying sites across Texas unless exempt

GIRLS 12-18 DIVISION

• Finished in top 10 of 2024 Texas Junior Amateur
• Finished in top 5 of any 2025 Legends Junior Tour event*
• Finished in top 3 of any 2024 Legends Junior Tour event*
• Finished in top 3 of any 2025 NTPGA All American Tour or STPGA Prestige Tour event
• Finished in top 2 of any 2024 NTPGA All American Tour or STPGA Prestige Tour event
• Finished as champion of any 2025 NTPGA All American Tour or STPGA Prestige Tour event in Boys 11-12 division
• Top 5000 in Junior Golf Scoreboard boys overall rankings

GIRLS 14 & UNDER DIVISION

• Must have participated in at least two 2025 NTPGA All American Tour or STPGA Prestige Tour events in the previous year
• Finished as champion of any 2025 NTPGA All American Tour or STPGA Prestige Tour event in Girls 13-14*

* Must be a minimum of 10 participants in respective division.
