Entry & Eligibility Information
Entries Open: Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close: Wednesday, June 19, 2024 at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $300
Eligibility: All players must have an active membership with a member of the Texas Junior Golf Alliance. Membership can be purchased through the NTPGA, and the STPGA.
Entry Procedure: Players will be added to the field according to the Priority Entry System immediately following the close of registration. For more information on the Priority Entry System, please check the LJT landing page. WAIT LIST INFORMATION
Championship Information
Format/Field Size: Play will be contested over 36 holes of stroke play. The field is limited to 120 players.
Divisions: Boys 15-18, Boys 14 & Under, Girls 12-18
Practice Round Information: The official practice round date is Sunday, July 7. Players may begin contacting the club beginning Sunday, June 30 to schedule a practice round. Practice round fees are $25 walking and $40 riding.
Cancellation/Withdrawal Policy
Players may withdraw themselves from the field and receive a refund up until 10 days before the first round. If you need to withdraw, please contact the Tournament Director and they will instruct you on how to complete the WD. For full refund details, please reference the LJT Competition Policies.
Caddies
Caddies will NOT be permitted for the event. Rule 10.3a will be modified in this way: A player must not have a caddie during the round.
Spectator Carts
Spectator carts are allowed and can be rented from the club for $25 per person. Spectators that rent carts must follow the LJT Spectator Policy when operating the cart.
Rules of Golf
The Championship will be contested under the 2023 Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association and R&A, its interpretations and clarifications, 2024 Legends Junior Tour Local Rules and Terms of Competition. For more information on rules, visit the USGA Rules of Golf Hub.
Host Hotel
The LJT has partnered with the following hotels to serve as the designated host hotel(s) for the Lanny Wadkins Junior Championship. Participants are responsible for individually booking their room for the championship, if needed.
