Entry & Eligibility Information
Entries Open: Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close: Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $300
Eligibility: Players must have a current membership with a member of the Texas Junior Golf Alliance. Players can renew or sign up with the Northern Texas PGA or the Southern Texas PGA membership to be eligible.
Entry Procedure: Players will be added to the field according to the Exemption Based Entry procedures immediately following the close of registration. For more information on the exemption based entry procedures, please check the LJT Eligibility & Entry Procedures.
Championship Information
Format/Field Size: Play will be contested over 36 holes of individual stroke play with no cut. The field is limited to 132 players
Divisions: Boys 15-18, Girls 12-18, Boys 14 & Under
Practice Round Information: The official practice round date is Friday, May 3. Players may begin contacting the club beginning Friday, April 26 to schedule a practice round. Practice round fees are $25 walking.

Tournament Qualifying
Players competing in the Bluebonnet Championship will be automatically entered into a qualifier for the IMG Academy World Junior Championships being played in San Diego on July 6-11. Eligible divisions for the tournament are Boys 15-18, Boys 13-14, Boys 11-12, Girls 15-18, Girls 13-14, and Girls 11-12. For tournament information, click here.
The Girls 12-18 Division champion and POY Points leader following the Bluebonnet Championship will be awarded an exemption into the Texas Womens Open.
Rules of Golf
The Championship will be contested under the 2023 Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association and R&A, its interpretations and clarifications, 2024 Legends Junior Tour Local Rules and Terms of Competition and any local rules give to the player on their first tee.
