The TGA’s Role: Proud Partners in Preservation

The TGA is honored to serve as a permanent member of the Hall’s Board of Directors and as a leading supporter of its mission. Over the past four years, the TGA has contributed $120,000 to support general operations and fund the creation of digital exhibits honoring seven Hall of Fame members with deep ties to our association. These investments help ensure that the stories of Texas’ greatest golfers aren’t just remembered, they’re brought to life.

Coming Up: Celebrating Harvey Penick

One of the ways the Hall of Fame inspires and connects golfers is through events that honor the legends who shaped the game. On October 22 at Austin Country Club, Hall of Fame members Tom Kite, Ben Crenshaw, and Sandra Palmer will come together to celebrate the career and lasting impact of Harvey Penick, one of the most beloved teachers and storytellers in golf history. It’s a chance to hear personal stories, reflect on his influence, and experience the kind of gathering that keeps Texas golf’s heritage alive.
