ADDISON – The 12th edition of the Flodder Financial Shootout will take place from June 17-18. The Legends Junior Tour event will return to Falcon Point Golf Club for the seventh consecutive year. 

“We look forward to another great year of this event,” shared Legends Junior Tournament Director Scott Davidson. “The Club at Falcon Point are great hosts and the players enjoy the course. The Flodder Financial Group are great hosts of this event and their passion for junior golf is always on show.” 

The Club at Falcon Point’s 18-hole golf course, designed by Bruce Devlin and Robert von Hagge, opened for play in 1984. The strategic par-72 layout was routed to utilize the area’s natural topography, resulting in a demanding course with various holes guarded by vast native areas and numerous water hazards. 

Last year, Joah Bramwell of Houston claimed the Boys 15-18 Division title after finishing with a 73-72, 1-over in the tournament. Bramwell won by two strokes over four other players tied for second. In the Girls 12-18 Division, Brooke Frerichs of Houston claimed the title with a 75-76, eight-over final score, winning with just a one-stroke lead in a narrow finish. Lastly, in the Boys 14 & Under Division, Aadi Parmar claimed the title after finishing with a 71-72, one-under final score, showing dominance by winning the title by a commanding 11 strokes. 

The format for the 12th Flodder Financial Shootout is 36 holes of individual stroke play and will feature an 84-player starting field comprised of three divisions: Boys 15-18 (54 players), Girls 12-18 (16), and Boys 14 & Under (14). The winners in each division will be awarded a custom-made silver belt buckle, courtesy of the Flodder Financial Group.  

Additionally, a smaller belt buckle will be presented to the lowest scorer in the final round in each division. In addition to the one-of-a-kind trophies, the top finishers in each division will earn AJGA Performance Stars along with exemptions for upcoming LJT Invitational events.
