Bobby Massa of Dallas had a tremendous run at the 2024 U.S. Mid-Amateur, held Sept. 21-26 at Kinloch Golf Club in Manakin-Sabot, Va., before falling to Evan Beck of Virginia Beach, Va., in the 36-hole championship match.

Massa, who earlier this year won his third consecutive TGA North Four-Ball title and later finished T14th in the 115th Texas Amateur, also reached the quarterfinals in the 2024 U.S. Amateur at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minn.
