Briefly: Caitlyn Cassity and Grace Cassity of Katy and Kiersten Bryant and Samantha Garza of San Antonio are tied for the lead of the 2019 Women’s Four-Ball Championship after an opening round 5-under-par 67.

Round 1 Results | Round 2 Pairings
Golf Course: The 18-hole Miller Course, designed by an internationally recognized name, Scott Miller, seems to have been carved along the natural curve of Lake Conroe. A rippling creek provides background music on the 16th and 17th holes and more water views greet players at the 3rd and 4th holes as you enjoy a shimmering 3-acre lake. Round 1 was contested at 5,967 yards.
Weather: The temperature reached 93 degrees with steady winds at 10 mph out of the south, southwest.
In Contention: Caitlyn Cassity and Grace Cassity of Katy and Kiersten Bryant and Samantha Garza of San Antonio are tied for the lead of the 2019 Women’s Four-Ball Championship after an opening round 5-under-par 67.
Faith Delagarza of Midland and her partner Amari Smith of McKinney carded a 4-under-par 68 and sits one shot off the lead. The team of Amelia McKee of Spring and Jordan Shackelford of Austin sit in solo fourth after a 2-under-par 70.
What’s Next: Round 2 shotgun starts Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. at Bentwater Yacht & Country Club’s Miller Course.
