TYLER, Texas – Andrea Birolini wins the Texas Cup Invitational after going 3-under in his final 10 holes at Willow Brook Country Club. The Southlake native finished at 3-under overall and was three strokes ahead of the field.

“Today went great as I battled the conditions with some early sloppy bogeys but made good birdies in the middle of the round,” said Birolini after his round.

Birolini started the final round tied for the lead but fell out after some early bogeys. He bounced back with a birdie on the par-5 ninth and played steady golf coming in. He knocked in a birdie on the par-4 14th to take a one-stroke lead. The 2026 high school grad made three straight pars and finished with a 30-foot birdie putt on the 18th to seal the victory.

This win is his first on the Legends Junior Tour this season, going along with his runner-up finish at the Winter Classic in January.

“Feels amazing to win, the game has been coming along and I’ve been close a couple of times,” said Birolini. “It’s great to finally get to that point and get the W.”

Bennett Kuhns of Austin and Tripp Depoy of The Woodlands finished tied for second at even-par. Depoy played in the penultimate group on Wednesday and was battling with Birolini for the lead most of the day. Depoy took possession of the lead with a birdie on the 14th, but dropped a shot on the par-3 15th and the par-4 18th to fall back to even-par. Kuhns posted a 3-under round of 68 in the final round to climb four spots up the leaderboard.

Maddox Mowad of Monroe, La. finished fourth after rounds of 70-71-73 on the week. Mowad made three birdies in four holes through the turn but dropped shots on 13 and 14 to fall back of the lead.

Austin’s Henry Talarico shot the round of the week on Wednesday, posting a 4-under 67 and jumping 18 spots up the leaderboard. Connor Bryce and Ryan Lee tied for sixth at 4-over, while Isaiah Diaz and Daniel Rice finished tied for eighth at 5-over.

Willow Brook Country Club was the host of the Texas Cup Invitational and tested players all week. Located in Tyler, Texas, Willow Brook CC features some steady undulations alongside narrow fairways and smooth greens that roll fast. Players had to battle different weather conditions each day but were treated to sunny skies and calm winds during the final round.

With this win, Birolini earns 2000 points and will take the lead in the Legends Junior Tour Player of the Year Points List presented by Huntington Bank. The win also earned Birolini exemptions into the Huntington Bank Byron Nelson Junior Championship as well as the Texas Junior Amateur presented by Edwin Watts.

The Bluebonnet Championship is the next event up on the Legends Junior Tour Schedule. The 36-hole championship returns to Brownwood Country Club on May 2-3, 2026.
