Legends Junior Tour returns to White Bluff Resort for the 2026 Texas Junior Golf Alliance Invitational

The Legends Junior Tour heads back to White Bluff Resort’s New Course in Whitney for the eighth Texas Junior Golf Alliance Invitational, Oct. 24-25. It is the final LJT event of October and last chance for players to earn Player of the Year points and a spot on the Jackie Burke Cup team.

“We are pumped to be returning to White Bluff Resort,” said Tournament Manager Preston Vinzant. “They have been an incredible TGA Member club in hosting numerous events for the Texas Golf Association and Legends Junior Tour. The course is in great shape and will be a phenomenal test for the players.”

The tournament returns to White Bluff for the second time in three years after first visiting in 2024. Located in Whitney, just over an hour south of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, the New Course stretches more than 6,900 yards. Narrow fairways, towering trees and penalty areas force players to think their way around the course. White Bluff is a familiar stop for LJT players and has hosted a number of tour events over the years, including the 2024 Texas Junior Amateur Boys 15-18 Division.

Now in its eighth year, the Texas Junior Golf Alliance Invitational is one of the youngest tournaments on the Legends Junior Tour. The 90-player, exemption-based event will be played over 36 holes of stroke play in three divisions: Boys, Boys 14 & Under, and Girls.

The Invitational will serve as the final LJT event before the Player of the Year points list determines teams for the Jackie Burke Cup and Player of the Year honors. Ryan (Woojin) Lee of College Station leads the Boys Division, Lois Lee of Flower Mound  tops the Girls Division, Becket McLaughlin has a historical type season and has the lead locked up in the Boys 14 & Under Division.

At the 2025 Texas Junior Golf Alliance Invitational at The Bearkat Course in Huntsville, Kingwood’s Corrington Case started the final round four shots off the lead. He fired an 8-under 63 with nine birdies and one bogey to win the Boys 15-18 Division by three strokes. It was his second LJT win of the season.

In the Girls Division, Lee closed with a 2-under 69 to finish at 6-under 136 and win by three for her second LJT title of 2025. Diaz started the final round in a three-way tie for the Boys 14 & Under lead and pulled away with a 4-under 67. He finished at 5-under 137 for his fifth LJT title of the season.

The Texas Junior Golf Alliance is a joint venture between the Texas Golf Association, Northern Texas PGA and Southern Texas PGA. The Alliance was created to give junior golfers a clear path to the top tournaments in Texas. Players progress from regional events hosted by the NTPGA and STPGA to statewide competitions on the LJT, allowing them to develop their games and prepare for higher levels of competition.

Round 1 of the 2026 Texas Junior Golf Alliance Invitational begins Saturday, October 24, with players teeing off Nos. 1 and 10 at 8:00 a.m.
