2016 PGA/USGA Rules of Golf Workshop
The PGA and USGA have released their 2016 Rules of Golf Workshop Schedule to the public and those looking to expand or freshen up their knowledge on the rules of golf will have two options in Texas. The first workshop, in Dallas, will be conducted from January 15-18, 2016 by USGA instructor John Van der Borght and PGA instructor Jim Deaton. The second and final workshop in Texas will be in San Antonio on February 12-15, 2016 with USGA President, Tom O’Toole Jr. and Jesse Barge instructing the session.
The TGA encourages all of our Volunteers who are interested in expanding their rules knowledge to attend one of these workshops. While being extremely informative, they also provide expansion on the “why” questions that so often come up after reading a particular rule.
