Entry & Eligibility Information
Entries Open: Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 9:00 AM
Entries Close: Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 5:00 PM
Entry Fee: $300
Eligibility: Players must have a current membership with a member of the Texas Junior Golf Alliance. Players can renew or sign up with the Northern Texas PGA or the Southern Texas PGA membership to be eligible.
Entry Procedure: Exemption based entry, players who have earned an exemption into the given event will be added to the tournament field once they have completed the registration process. LJT staff will add registered exempt players on a weekly basis throughout the open registration period. Once the listed event registration period closes, any remaining registered exempt players will be added to the tournament field. The remaining non-exempt players will then be ranked according to their junior golf rankings (i.e. Junior Golf Scoreboard, GolfWeek, etc.). This ranked list will then be used to fill any remaining spots in the tournament field and establish the event waitlist.
Championship Information
Format/Field Size: Play will be contested over 36 holes of stroke play. The field is limited to 84 players.
Divisions: Boys 15 -18, Boys 14 & Under, Girls 12-18
Practice Round Information: The official practice round date is Friday, October 25. Players may begin contacting the club beginning Monday, October 14 to schedule a practice round. Practice round fees are $30 walking.

Starting Times/Pairings Information
Starting times/pairings for the first round will be made no later than Wednesday, October 23. Pairings will be listed online on the tournament homepage at txga.org. Final round starting times/pairings will be available in the evening preceding play online at txga.org.
Caddies
Caddies are NOT permitted for the championship. Rule 10.3a will be modified in this way: A player must not have a caddie during a round.
Rules of Golf
The Championship will be contested under the 2023 Rules of Golf as approved by the United States Golf Association and R&A, its interpretations and clarifications, 2024 Legends Junior Tour Local Rules and Terms of Competition. For more information on rules, visit the USGA Rules of Golf Hub.
